The intrepid band of “Our Longest Drive” travelers have reached Inuvik, NWT and their destined three holes of golf. We’re pleased they managed to arrive with both tins of Garrett Popcorn for Mayor Denny Rodgers and their spirits intact. Have a great game, guys! And safe journey home!

When Vic Zast, Jim Thompson and Dan Johnson wanted to take the remains of their friend Mike Allen on a road trip to the Arctic to play three rounds of golf at midnight on the longest day of the year, Vic got the bright idea to turn their adventure into a movie. We decided it was both wacky and worthwhile to drive so far to honor a departed friend, so Garrett Popcorn provided the guys with a few tins of Chicago Mix, a gift for the Mayor of Inuvik, and financial support for the film.

Follow the guys on the Our Longest Drive site, or send Vic a tweet. They’ll respond when they stop somewhere with internet coverage.

We’ll check in with them on along the journey and hope you do the same.

UPDATE: Here’s a link to the film trailer.
