Meet the People Behind the Pop!

We asked Karla D., the manager of 26 West Randolph, to share what she enjoys most about working at this Shop:

“It’s in the middle of everything! I love being right next to the theater and seeing all the theater folks come in for the shows. We get a good blend of locals from the government buildings and offices, and people can pull up with their cars and get their popcorn quickly. Plus, the [Chicago Trolley and Double Decker Company] stops in front so we see a lot of tourists, too.”

Have you met anyone famous?

“Yes! Phylicia Rashad from The Cosby Show came in a few times with her entourage. She’s a big fan. It’s always exciting when there’s a big show next door. We meet tons of people, which is always exciting.”

How do you enjoy working for Garrett Popcorn Shops®?

“It’s a good company with a lot of opportunities. I like working with my staff — we have a great team atmosphere. Plus, we have a treat that people love, and I feel special being a part of a team that brings that to them.”

And finally, what is your favorite flavor?

“Pecan CaramelCrisp®. It’s the right blend of saltiness from the nut and sweetness from the CaramelCrisp®. It’s always been my favorite!”
