When Vic Zast, Jim Thompson and Dan Johnson wanted to take the remains of their friend Mike Allen on a road trip to the Arctic to play three rounds of golf at midnight on the longest day of the year, Vic got the bright idea to turn their
adventure into a movie. We decided it was both wacky and worthwhile to drive so far to honor a departed friend, so Garrett Popcorn provided the guys with a few tins of Chicago Mix, a gift for the Mayor of Inuvik, and financial support for the film.
